What information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Information we collect
This website has no account system and no newsletter signup. Simply reading its pages gives us nothing about you beyond the server log and the anonymous visit count described below.
There is no contact form: the way to reach us is to email info@an2tech.com. When you do, we hold whatever you chose to put in that email, which is usually:
- — Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
- — Company name and role
- — Project details and requirements you share with us
- — Any other information you choose to provide
How we use your information
Only to reply to you and to carry out work you have asked us to do:
- — Respond to your inquiries and provide our services
- — Discuss and deliver a project you have engaged us for
- — Keep our own records of the work, quotes and agreements
- — Comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules
We do not add you to a mailing list, build a profile of you, or use your details for advertising. If you email us and we never work together, your message simply sits in our mailbox until we clear it out.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
Two suppliers necessarily handle it as part of running the business: the company that hosts this website, whose server writes the access log described below, and our email provider, which stores the messages you send us. Both act on our instructions and are bound to keep the data confidential.
Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law requires it, or where you have asked us to — for example naming you as a client in a case study, which we would only publish with your agreement.
Data security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and it is encrypted in transit. Access to the mailbox and the hosting account is limited to the people at AN2Tech who need it. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
On how long we keep things: server logs are held for a short period and then rotated away. Correspondence is kept while a project is live and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules require us to retain the records; anything that never became a project is deleted once it is clear there is nothing to discuss. You can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner.
Server logs and visit counts
Like almost every web server, ours records each request it serves: the IP address it came from, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string.
Separately, the site counts visits itself, without cookies and without any outside analytics company. For each page view it records the page, the website you arrived from (its domain only), any campaign tags in the link, and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer. It also notes clicks on "Start a project", on our email address and on links to other websites. It stores no IP address and no user-agent string. By default it also stores no identifier and nothing on your device, so the count cannot tell one visitor from another.
The cookie notice asks whether you agree to one exception. If you click Accept, your browser keeps a random ID in its local storage (not a cookie), sent with each visit so we can count unique and returning visitors. It is not linked to your name, email address or IP address, and it is never shared. Click Decline, or clear this site's data in your browser, and it is removed; we also count how many people accept or decline. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted at all and the notice is not shown.
These logs exist to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing errors, and spotting abuse such as scraping or attacks. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with anything else, and are not shared with advertisers. An IP address counts as personal data, which is why it is set out here rather than left unmentioned.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- — Access the personal data we hold about you
- — Request correction of inaccurate data
- — Request deletion of your personal data
- — Object to or restrict processing of your data
- — Ask for a copy of it in a portable form
To exercise any of these, email info@an2tech.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason. In practice the data we hold is your own correspondence, so honouring a deletion request usually means deleting an email thread.
